..The puppies are patient, dignified, and
self-assured.They exhibit
curiosity, but are wary of strangers, fearless and
courageous if
threatened. They are keenly alert and have a
heightened sense of
hearing. They have played with kids around the church
premises and
adore children and other pets. They have an inordinate
need for human
companionship and do not like to be alone for extended
periods of
time. They are not well suited for a two career
family.
Insufficient attention may lead them into "bad"
behavior in an attempt

As for cane he weighs 1.15lbs,full of little tricks

wanting to play.He is calm,but could be very
mischivous when
neglected.He loves to be carried around and will not
lie on his bed at
night except yours.He is just too funny and likes
company.He is also
peculiar and loves running aroung with my socks.

Thanks for your email regarding mimi, i had a delay in my reply because i have been so busy with work, As work as an international volunteer with NEW-ERA ANTI-CANCER ORGANISATION which was recently launched in New York.
I have dedicated my life for anything that has to do with helping people with cancer because my little boy passed away from a brain Cancer.
Mimi is 16 weeks old and a pure breed english bulldog, she is up todate with shots and is vet checked, she is potty trained, house trained and crate trained, she is very sweet tempered family companions. She is also very placid, docile, obedient and stable. She is never demanding but has a very loving patience. she only barks when there is really areason.
She is absolutely wonderful with children and elderly like wise other pets too like cats and also dogs. At her age, she is very sensitive to human moods and is delighted when one is happy and is very still and compassionate when one is in grieve, we have taken note of that since the day our little boy passed away.
At her age, you can also notice that she is already brave to the extreme and claims to defend when she thinks we are being threatened. Infact, she is a true companion inevery sense of the word.
Since we are going away and wont need any of their equipments again, i decided to give her away alongside her plastic dog bed which is fitted with cushions, her stainless feeding bowl and drinking bowl, her toys( tugs, dumbbell with bells and a rope ball which i recently bought before coming here.
The greatest problem now is that I got a promotion in our campaign and the work is really over loaded for me so much so that i dont have the least time to take care of mimi. I also cant give her to any person here because they dont know the worth of a pet and more to that a dog like mimi, inhabitants here use dogs for dog fighting, they even eat dogs, they dont take care of their dogs , their dogs roam the street very dirty and unhealthy. Please if you are able to offer mimi a home there back in the states, then it will be the best thing someone has ever done to her life . I really made a big mistake bringing her here, i never knew the inhabitants here are not pet welcoming.
Moreso, the climate here is too tropical and harsh for mimi. Please email back if you can help.

Dear Gentle Reader,

Well, yes, pretty much anything involving parrot eggs is a scam. No real breeder ships parrot eggs. Plus it's pretty much illegal to export or import them anyway.

The phone number is from Kuwait (probably a prepaid moblie number). The IP address is Kenyan. NOTE: Stand Corrected, it is a UK phone number (have to learn to read international dialing codes) REMEMBER!!! You can buy a cell phone chip from a different country, or you can even engage a call forwarding service, and you'll never know you aren't dialing that Country!!!

In the US, hyacinth macaws go for about $8,000 dollars each. So, compare that to them only asking $40 bucks for an egg.

Please, don't forget to forward a copy of e-mails from scammers, including their full headers, to their e-mail hosting service. In other words, report them for fradulent use of the e -mail service.

This one figured out about this blog. Otherwise, they are pretty stupid. This is also a case of the scammers going for less, not more in thier initial responses.

See if you can pick out where the scammer gave him/herself away. Remember, the key to figuring out these things is to notice what doesn't make sense (like poor english grammer, details that vary, that kind of thing). Here's a hint, we found this scammers ad on a UK free classifieds website.

1. It would be COMPLETELY ILLEGAL to ship any bird, bird egg, or PART of any bird (including feathers) from any country (including Cameroon and all countries of Africa) without CITES Permits from both the exporting and importing countries. THIS IS INTERNATIONAL LAW! IF (and that's a REALLY BIG IF), an exporter in Africa could get a CITES Export Permit for a SOUTH AMERICAN SPECIES (such as the Hyacinth Macaws the scammers are so fond of offering), it would take MANY MONTHS TO OBTAIN. The scammers all offer immediate shipping on eggs and birds! The Hyacinth Macaw is an Appendix I species (the most highly protected) and it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get legal CITES permits on Appendix I parrots.

2. IF (BIG if), CITES permits could be obtained on CITES I or II parrots out of Africa, the United States would not allow the entry, as all birds listed on these appendices are prohibited from importation into the United States (for most practical purposes- there are some highly regulated exceptions). This is because a law was passed in the U.S. in 1992 called the Wild Bird Conservation Act. Therefore ANY offer to sell birds to U.S. citizens to be shipped from other countries should be carefully scrutinized for legality.

3. The low prices are RIDICULOUS and designed to scam a number of people for relatively small amounts of money. A healthy pair of adult Hyacinth Macaw would sell for AT LEAST $18,000.00 in the United States. BELIEVE ME, there are not a lot of Hyacinth Macaws in the entire continent of Africa and this species is VERY VALUABLE there. I have been offered dozens of pairs of Hyacinth Macaws from Cameroon at $1600.00 to $2500.00 per pair. What a joke!

4. It would be NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to have fertile parrot eggs transported safely in a portable incubator by air freight from Africa to North America! Bird eggs are fragile and fertile eggs can easily die with vibration or a drop or increase in temperature. EVEN IF IT WERE LEGAL, THIS WOULD BE NEARLY IF NOT COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO! ALSO, it would take much more than the 10-24 hours quoted by the scammers and EVEN IF the "eggs" did arrive within this time frame, and EVEN IF they had CITES permits, they would STILL HAVE TO GO INTO USDA QUARANTINE! I do not know of any USDA quarantine that accepts live eggs.

Parrot eggs, revisited.

Been dealing with this guy ourselves, amusing really, just want to see how it pans out. The guy is using a UK IP address, but that doesn't really mean much these days.

Also note, some of the birds he has listed are endangered species, so the import or export of their eggs would be illegal.

Remember, parrot eggs do not survive shipping. Even for something as easily shipped as fertile chicken eggs, the breeder would not foolishly offer a 100% hatch garuntee. (PS, we've hatched chicken eggs ourselves) Parrot eggs are much more tempermental and delicate than chicken eggs.

Not only is it illegal to import monkey's...

But, capuchian monkey's are an endangered species. So it's illegal to export 'em too. Not that the scammers care about such things. Remember folks, if you do foolishly try to import a monkey (not that the scammers have any) the animal will be seized by customs and destroyed. The person importing it will also be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Importing and exporting animals is not as quick and easy as the scammers would like you to believe. Remember, we're talking about dealing with various goverment agencies here folks.

Followed up to my questions with...

I am very sorry never inform you I relocated out of
the states. I am presently Here in Cameroon with my
husband who just got a transfer to come work with
the US Embassy here in Cameroon*. So I will be shipping
the puppy from here. I don't know if You will be
comfortable to get her ship over to the states. If

CKC Registratin don't mean the Canadian Kennel Club

The following is an excellent explanation of the problems with CKC registration. There is the Canadian Kennel Club, which has excellent standards for pure bred pups. Then, there is the Continental Kennel Club which has, well, pretty much no standards for pure bred pups. If you don't care about the 'purity' of the breed. Then go to a pound and adopt a stray mutt instead of encouraging puppy mill breeders! If you are going to spend the money for a pre bred puppy, make sure it is a pure breed.

Hi, if it was me I wouldn't buy the puppy at all.

If both parents are AKC there is no reason NOT to register the puppies.

CKC stands for Continental Kennel Club. It also stands for Canadian Kennel Club. Now the Canadian Kennel Club is an excellent registry it works just like AKC does. But Continental Kennel Club in Walker, Louisiana also calls itself the CKC. And most dogs that are registered with CKC in the USA are registered with Continental Kennel Club. Now, just think about a registry that would use call letters that are identical to another well know registery. Think about that for a while. With CKC they do not require that dogs be dna'd so you don't know if the pups come from the parents the breeder says or not. With AKC you know for sure because there is DNA. With AKC you can't pick up a dog on the side of the road and register it. With CKC you can. With AKC you can't breed a Great Dane to Doberman and call it a new breed i. e. the Great Doberman and you can do some of this with CKC. See there is a big difference. Many times when people can't get dogs registered by AKC they go to CKC. Because CKC is so loose with their rules.

So the puppy you are buying might grow up to look like the parents or it might not. It might grow up to be as big as a whippet or have ears that stand straight up etc. etc. And people that don't breed don't know what puppies are supposed to look like so they can be fooled. They see a cute puppy and they buy it but when it is grown it doesn't look like the breed it is supposed to be. OR it is too big etc.

If the breeder has papers on both parents there is no reason the breeder should not register it with AKC because the over whelming majority of breeders in the USA would rather all their dogs be AKC registered. The reason some of these new registries are popping up is because some years back AKC required breeders to DNA their dogs. It is a rule. So if you buy a puppy from an AKC breeder and the puppy doesn't turn out to look like an IG you can contact the AKC. And then they will DNA your puppy and if it doesn't match the DNA records they have on the parents of the puppy the breeder will NO longer be able to register with AKC at all. Now, there are some people who can NO longer register with AKC because they have committed fraudulent actions with their breeding and registry records, and when AKC catches them they can NO longer register their dogs with AKC at all.

And just remember a registry is what it says. It registers dogs. I can become a registry today. All I have to do is start a website and say call myself the World Canine Registry (and there might already be one called that there are so many out there these days), advertise how much it costs to regsiter dogs and people will start registering with me. Even if I don't keep good records or have rules that are so lax that they aren't any rules at all. Because all some people care about is PAPERS. Many people don't know what papers mean. Many People just want to be able to say "MY DOG HAS PAPERS!!!!!". Registration papers mean a lot. THey mean that for 8 generations or more an IG was bred to an IG so what you have here is an IG. With an AKC registered IG I imagine papers go back many many and all the way back to England. That is what a good registry does it registers dogs for years and years. And it doesn't allow dogs that someone says is a Cocker Spaniel be registered as a Cocker Spaniel just because the owner says that is what it is. So as you can see this registry and "I have PAPERS" is a real game now. And especially with the advent of the internet.

So the only registry in the USA that stands behind it's papers scientifically with DNA is AKC. The registry with the best reputation in the USA is AKC. The registry that offers the most for the pet owner, breeder, show dog, obedience dog, tracking dog, flyball dog, etc. etc. etc. is AKC. And it has been that way for years.

So if I was you I would find another breeder.

When puppies are cheaper than everyone elses there is usually a problem. Buying the cheapest puppy is never a good idea to do.
