Ha, seems there is an amusing follow up. Remember folks, it's next to impossible to import and export birds. (avian flu scares)

subject RE: Re: Mynah Bird for adoption, $450

Hi

It was nice to read from you and to know you are interested in my cute Mynah Parrots. And it was also nice to know that you had one formerly. Sorry that i have to write a lenghty mail but i have no choice i am about to travel and you are asking for details.

They are very playful with children and other pets. They are registered with a one year health guarantee. The birds just love to be talked to and this in turn moves them to speech often.
Thus they love the company of persons who can talk to them.

This said and talking of my location, i think you should know that i am of Saint Paul, MN, but i will be moving over to Cameroon on a Missionary assignment to our congregation out there tomorrow.

This is why i want to give out the birds, and hence my reason for posting my ad, but your reply is coming in a just at the peak of the time that i am about to travel as earlier mentioned.
In addition, i will not have enough time to take care of them during work hours.

Nonetheless, i can assure you that my traveling is no hindrance for you to get the bird since i will just have to ship it from there to you.
So talking of delivery, i will need your information to prepare the adoption papers to your name and also enable me ship the Mynah over to your location.
So i will need your :

Name.....
State/City....
Address....
the name of the nearest Airport to your location...
and telephone number if you do not mind .....

As soon as i get this information, i will only have to pay the bird's flight and ship it over to you.
All these from my research will cost you $450, and you will only go for pick up at your nearest Airport.
However, if you wish to have two of the Mynah's ( male and female ) then i will give them for $750 only.
If this is ok by you, then i am waiting to read from you so i can tell you what next.

Regards.

Ambe

Hi there Anita.

It was nice to read from you again. Our journey was ok and we arrived our destination safely.
Upon our arrival at the Douala airport nout here, i alerted the Pet officials that i wanted to ship to the Birds back to any interested person back in the US and they said this was ok as long as i get an Export and Adoption permit handy.
The good news is that the money remains thesame for the Bird to be shipped over to you. That is $450 for one or $750 for a male and a female.

So if you are still interested then i am delighted to inform you that it is not yet late for you to get one of my Mynah Birds.

Thus if you are ok then i await to here hear form you and also get your
Names...
City / State...
Address.....
the airport you will prefer to pick up the BIrd from and of course your telephone number so i can get to you when necessary.

Hope to read from you soon with the above information, so i can start preparing the Adoption and Shipping papers.

Regards.
