The potential victum offered to meet with the scammer. Scammer pitched a fit about that it seems. They either make an excuse about 'we just left on a trip' or will ask for money. Some even stop contact with the victim. Don't be fooled by the claim that they are located 'locally', and never adopt a pet you can't go meet, for free, first!!!
