Peace Corps and Scammers

I wrote to the Peace Corps and asked them about volunteers taking pets overseas with them. Here is their response "Thank you for considering Peace Corps. Due to international laws regarding pets and quarantine it is not permitted to bring pets overseas. Below is some general information about Peace Corps, I hope this helps. "
