ReplyDeleteThis happen to me too.. but I wanted to check them out because I won't transport any puppies. When I finally find the right one, I will go pick them up myself, most sellers would be happy about that.. If they don't want you to pick them up yourself, then they're full of it!
ReplyDeleteI almost just got scammed by the same person, but I googled the name and saw that they have ads running in anywhere from Virginia to Australia dealing in birds, dogs and whatever they can scam people with. I asked where they were located and they gave me the Cameroon Island crap. I had never heard of it and it doesn't appear on any map. CAN YOU SAY SCAMMERS!!!! I am reporting them to Yahoo for Fraud and am sending a copy of the email to the FBI. Do they honestly think they are smarter than the rest of us...they are idiots!!!!!

They say have two puppies for free adoption, posting one cute white dogie picture, and as soon as I respond asked for money for the shipping, not even care about to talk in person. There is when you realize it is a scam.

ReplyDeleteyes i myself got the email about the malteses and the bulldogs.. one email said western cameroon the other said southern. they also stated they were missionaries and one even went as low as saying their grand mother and daughter died and thet work at the animal rescue and brought home bulldogs. what a crock!!! their names are jennifer moore and christina gomez so beware!!!

ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as a free puppy or kitten. Puppies and kittens need supplies, and trips to the vet. If you want a nice pet head on over to the local pound or rescue organization. They have lots of wonderful pets that would love to become part of your family.

Yeah I got the same thing!!! She said her name was Christina Gomez and her and her husband are missionaries. They tried selling us 2 malteses named Nelly and Kelly. They said they got relocated to Cameroon. They also asked us questions like why do you want to adopt from us? will this be your first maltese? are you married? got any kids? do your kids love puppies? can you afford em? and asked if we would buy both of them and where SO stupid!

These people are at it again..Posted on GOLSN.COM email now is myhomebaby1@gmail.com' posted under English Bulldogs , If you look closely the puppies look like stuffed amimals. I hope someone can do something about these people, this is how they get your idenity and in to your homes, hopefully noone will get hurt from this.
ReplyDeleteOkay my family has been looking for a puppy now for months and everytime we think we find one it ends up being a scam the newest is from joy.scott2@yahoo.com. The only reason I say I think this is a scam is because I was reading some of the other scams above and the e-mail I got was on here but from a diffent e-mail than the ones above. Plus I thought the St. Louis, Cameroon sounded fishy so I googled the St. Louis Cameroon and that is all and scam came popping up.

My mother in law found out about it through Oregonlive.com! Someone these scammers put out an add in the Oregonian. So the email I recieved was jesicajones@gmail.com, so she is using google mail now. I have been emailing her back and forth all day today and I thank God that I found out it was a scam! I am going to try and report this!!!

I just recently got scammed out of 450 dollars for 3 yorkie puppies and they said that they were being shipped to my location and then they came back and said they needed 900 dollars for an insurance fee and another 300 for a micro chip! I got the same questions as all of you. St Louis Cameroon? There is cameroon in africa and in california the number one of the guy called me from we tracked to california it is 6267710198 funny thingg is it won't let me call him only him call me! The emails are jamessantos@yahoo.com and myhome20009@gmail.com and it seems as though the police aren't going to do anything to try to help any of us! we should do it ourselves! I don't understand why we have police if their not willing to help with anything! If I wouldn't have found this site I would have sent an additional 300 dollars! Thanks to all of you! The police can't do anything, because it happened in another country. The phone number is also most likely a call forwarding service. The calls are forwarded to or from phone number in Cameroon.
ReplyDeleteSorry, there is nothing you can do to get your money back. What you can do is stop communicating with the scammers. Also, be aware that they may come after you with a 'recovery scam' to try and get further funds out of you. (as you have proved an easy target once)

The other was a bit different, but at the end of the day he wanted $170.00 sent by western union to Cameroon, in order to have the bull dog puppy shipped to us. His e-mail address is matt Benty
The shipping company was air pets. He only provided an e-mail address for them, and I got some story about how payments via credit card would not be accepted directly from them because it would take 2 weeks to process.
Hope this will help someone, and thanks for the warning.
