It seems that now scammers are claiming to be shipping pets form places within the us. Problem is ,when you ask to come see the pet first, they get cagey.

This guy claimed to have a pup in Buoston…I claimed to be in Providence, and wanted to drive up and see the pup. Didn’t hear back from the guy until I accidentally clicked ‘reply’ instead of forward when sending in the fraud report to Yahoo. He wrote back, in broken English, going on about suing me. Funny thing, he’d changed from an African IP address, to a UK one.

I keep waiting to hear back from a ‘lawyer’ or an ‘fbi’ agent. I’ve read accounts of the scammers actually pretending to be lawyers and law enforcement agents, then threatening people. (usually forgetting to even change their IP address). No worries folks, these people can’t do anything to you.
